Fibrolite main components are wood wool, cement and water
Fibrolite panels are manufactured from wood-wool impregnated with rapid hardening Portland cement under pressure to form building slabs that are robust, durable and structurally strong.
The fibers are mineralized, a procedure which, while retaining the mechanical properties of the wood, stops the process of biological deterioration, renders the fibers completely inert and increases their level of fire resistance.
Fibrolite main qualities are:
- Ecological, man and environment a harmless material;
- Fire safety group – poorly burning – glows under the impact of flames;
- A high heat capacity;
- Noise reduction coefficient for 50 mm thick board by sound frequency 1000 Hz – 0.92;
- Easy and comfortable to work with – saw, drill, nail, mill;
- Easy finishing with plastering, which can painted, glued over or wallpapered;
- Long lifetime, not damaged by termite and voles, will not decay;
- Water steam resistance coefficient μ = 2-5;
- Reasonable prices and comparatively small construction costs.

Fibrolite mostly is used for:
- Basements
- Floor Units
- Permanent shuttering
- Wooden frame housing
- Thermal insulation
- Partitioning
- Ceilings
- Decoration
- Acoustic absorbs
- Roofing
- Windows shuttering casing
- Sound barriers
